The Critical Care department at our hospital is a specialized unit dedicated to providing advanced care for critically ill patients. With a total of 29 beds, including a high dependency unit, our team consists of Chief Intensivists, Junior Intensivists, Senior & Junior Doctors, and highly efficient, experienced nursing & paramedical staff.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU):
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) features 11 beds and is designed to cater to patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized care across cardiac, medical, and surgical disciplines. The ICU is equipped with sophisticated technological infrastructure to ensure safe, high-quality, and personalized care for each patient.

  • Sophisticated bedside monitors, advanced ventilators, and defibrillators
  • Computerized monitoring system and medication administration record
  • Mechanical ventilators for respiratory support
  • Cardiac monitors with telemetry capabilities
  • External pacemakers and defibrillators for cardiac emergencies
  • Dialysis equipment for renal support
  • Intravenous lines, feeding tubes, nasogastric tubes, suction pumps, drains, and catheters
  • Comprehensive range of medications for various conditions
  • Medically induced comas, analgesics, and sedation to manage pain and prevent infections

Our SICU, with 5 beds, specializes in providing critical care services to cardiac and other surgical patients. Led by a Chief Intensivist, the team comprises qualified critical care specialists, experienced nurses, nursing aides, and paramedic staff available round the clock. The unit is equipped with infection control measures to minimize the risk of hospital-acquired infections, supporting high-risk surgeries such as organ transplants.

Our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a multidisciplinary unit with 5 beds dedicated to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The unit is staffed by a team of qualified and experienced pediatric specialists, including intensivists, cardiologists, anesthetists, nephrologists, neurologists, hematologists-oncologists, surgeons, infectious disease consultants, microbiologists, dieticians, physiotherapists, and trained nurses. We emphasize a family-centered care approach, ensuring open communication and involving families in decision-making regarding their child's care.

Our NICU is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to newborns and their mothers, focusing on prenatal and postnatal care with a multidisciplinary approach. With 8 beds, our NICU is fully equipped to manage a range of neonatal conditions, including extreme prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), congenital anomalies, and complex surgical conditions. Our team of in-house intensivists, neonatologists, subspecialty consultants, and pediatric surgeons ensures optimal care for newborns while promoting mother-child bonding.
